Take Action to Preserve the Historic Increase in Title X Funding!

The Senate is scheduled to consider the Labor, Health and Human Services, and Education appropriations bill the week of October 15, 2007. Leaders have indicated the bill should move quickly to conference with the House once it clears the Senate floor. While the House bill includes an increase of $28 million over 2007 spending, the Senate version shows only a $17 million increase for Title X funding. As the appropriations process nears completion, it is critical that you take a moment now to urge your elected officials to support family planning. They must hear from you to ensure that low-income and uninsured women and men will continue to have access to contraception and other family planning and health services. Take Action Now!
